A Sonnet poem

EW
A heart is strained and in disarray
Confused and crushed, oh what a waste
Hurt and tattered and thrown away
It bleeds out as it twitches from distaste
Raw and distressed it shuffles in unrest
A barrier is quickly made with varied integrity
Putting loud music to the ultimate test
It's efforts there to shield its vulnerability
But, wait, is that a hint of acceptance?
A handful of pain now riped out like thick foliage
A rare sight when met with distance
But a joyed response when met with damage
A heart  has healed
But no longer yields, it keeps up its shield
